Chasing big Tuna with a fly rod and flyline could well be one of the most difficult challenges you can face. Most flylines have not been strong enough to withstand the heavy pressure and tension on such trophy sized fish. Our New Teeny Tuna line tests out to 57 lbs. plus, for breaking strength. The color is bright orange, line weight 14. This line features a 10 ft. clear tip for spooky fish. Total length of the line is 90 ft. with a mono core and our new “HPC” coating (high performance coating).

These lines have been developed to address warm water fishing with a fast sinking line. A braided mono core and our new “HPC” coating (high performance coating) allows this line to be fished in the warmest of conditions. This line is great for any tropical area where water temperatures can and do exceed 70 degrees. Deep channels and underwater structures can be reached with this NEW Warm Water Series fly line. We have color coded these lines the same as all of our T-Series type lines for easier handling and that added visual control. When you see the color change at the tip of your rod you then can roll cast it to the surface and single false cast shooting the line with confidence that you are at the perfect balance point. These one-piece perfectly balanced lines will cast and perform like our world famous original T-Series lines.

The TS Series represents a longer version of the original Teeny T Series fly lines. The sinking section is 30 feet long with a 70 foot running line section with our new “HPC” coating (high performance coating), totaling 100 feet. The title of the line is Saltwater Series, but it works equally well in freshwater when distance is important. The reason I designed this line was for anglers who prefer to cast long distances of up to 100 feet. I have found this line to be very useful on many of our big wide rivers on the west coast where casting distance is important. What I like about this type of line is if you wish to fish close in, say 20 to 30 feet, you can easily do this. Simply roll cast some of the sinking line. Short leaders seem to work best with these lines. I usually run about 4 feet of leader off my fly line when I am fishing for Steelhead or Salmon. The best way to cast this type of line is to get the color change to your rod tip and roll cast your line to the surface and then immediately make a single false cast and then shoot it where you want it to go. My favorite size for Billfish is the TS-550 which is perfect for quick casting and excellent balance to turn over large flies. This line works equally well in both fresh and salt water.

Our New TS-T Flats Taper line has a 10 foot (Clear Tip slow sinking) along with 14 feet of regular intermediate sinking line. Total tip length is 24' of slow sinking head and 76 feet floating line with our new “HPC” coating (high performance coating). This line comes one piece from the factory for greater strength and smoothness when casting. The big advantage this line will have is on fish that are swimming deeper and it's important that your fly be presented at the proper level. After experimenting with the clear tip or clear lines it's been proven time and time again that an all clear or long clear tip is a definite disadvantage for the angler and also for the guide. They are to hard to see and follow for accurate casts and presentation. I designed a similar line back in the early 80's for Tarpon fishing at Homosassa Springs in Florida. Many seasons have passed by and I had longed for a line such as this for our arsenal. I know you will love this line!

Captain Bruce Chard, a full time Florida Keys flats guide, FFF casting instructor and fishing photographer has designed a fly line that best handles the conditions needed to cast, present, and fish a heavily weighted fly to the almighty permit. The most prestigious fish deserves the most prestigious line. You need a long cast and a delicate, accurate presentation when you have calm conditions versus shorter casts with a powerful tight loop that will drive a longer leader with a heavy fly hard into the wind. The hard “HPC” (high performance coating) coating and stiff mono core will help in creating tight loops and turning over long leaders, while minimizing line tangles. This line does it all!
Also excellent for many similar types of fishing, ranging from Tarpon, Bonefish, Shark, Barracuda and anything else that requires a great presentation with a large fly. Available in sizes 9 - 11 wt. Color: Sky Blue.

Billy Pate, fly rod world record
holder of Black, Blue, White and Striped Marlin, also Atlantic and Pacific
Sailfish, has put together the finest Billfish/Big Game line ever made.
One size fits all. This line was designed to turn over the largest flies
for accurate presentations, to reduce line drag that could break tippets,
to provide a color that a captain can see to help him follow the fish
and determine it's change of direction, and with enough weight to get
the fly quickly below the surface for a better hookup percentage. "The
very short heavy head is effective in carrying out a big fly to a fish
much closer to your boat than the normal 30 foot head on conventional
fly line. Sometimes the fish may even swim up close to the side of your
boat and one needs a very heavy line to carry the fly with only a 15
foot distance to the fish. The extra weight also helps to get the fly
down faster when it hits the water, enabling a better hookup than on
the surface. The smaller diameter of a fast sinking head also helps reduce
the drag on the tippet when the fish is running." The floating section
is coated with our new “HPC” coating (high
performance coating). |

Captain Dan Marini Striper LineCaptain Dan Marini, A N.E. saltwater guide. Dan's numerous years of saltwater fly fishing has led to the development of a line that casts smoothly for stripers when depth is necessary. It is 105 feet long and has an intermediate running line for windy situations and a fast sink rate due to a thin diameter dense head. It is also great for blue fish and false albacore. |
